This is a one of a kind bead woven box made from several hundreds of tiny beads, appliquéd on wood. I used size 15 rocailles from Miyuki, in different shades of lilac and purple. Each bead was sewn in one at a time using Nymo thread for perfect strength. This beautiful box measures 1 3/4 inch in diameter and is 1 1/2 inch tall. The lid features a "flower" made with genuine pearls surrounding a purple rhinestone. If you lift the lid you can see a round little mirror, glued to it. In the small holding space, lined with black leather, you can treasure your keepsakes or a few pieces of small jewelry: earrings, rings. My initials, IM are engraved on a sterling silver round, placed on the bottom of the box.
